Job Summary
- Deliver high quality care by assessing screening prescribing and providing therapeutic care for patients as necessary
- Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
- Provide clinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction including shockwave therapy
Requirements
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Nurses Newfoundland Labrador (CRNNL) as a nurse practitioner in good standing.
- Master of Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Ability to conduct clients interviews and examinations develop and implement client-centered treatment plans while integrating evidence-based health promotion practices
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to function within a collaborative practice model.
- Effective leadership capabilities including but not exclusive to teaching mentoring and supporting shared care models.
- Additional professional liability coverage is required; additional relevant professional memberships are an asset.
- Experience/confidence in working independently with high degree of self-direction and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to use information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and electronic medical records).
- Basic Life Support certification is required
