Job Summary
We are hiring a Private Nurse (RN) to provide one-to-one nursing support for clients. This role is focused on private care in home and community settings and is ideal for a nurse who values autonomy strong clinical judgment and high-quality client-centred care.
You will work directly with clients and families to deliver safe professional nursing support tailored to individual needs. Assignments may include ongoing care short-term support post-hospital care and wellness-focused nursing visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide private-duty nursing care in home and community settings
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments within scope
- Support care planning and communicate clearly with clients families and care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Provide education and guidance to clients and family members
- Follow professional privacy and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Current Nursing registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Experience in home care community care private duty medical-surgical rehab palliative or complex care is an asset
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation are an asset depending on assignment
- Clear criminal record check
- Ability to work independently and manage visits professionally
