We are looking for an experienced Senior Lettings Consultant to join a smart modern independent agency in the Uckfield area. The role will involve focusing on new instructions client service tenant registration and delivering a proactive local lettings presence for the company

We are working with an established independent estate agency in East Sussex who are looking to appoint a confident and organised Senior Lettings Consultant for their Uckfield branch. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced lettings environment enjoys working with clients and can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will be actively seeking new instructions conducting viewings negotiating offers and supporting the lettings team with marketing and portfolio management. The role involves regular travel locally so strong time-management and the ability to plan your day effectively are essential.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Generating new lettings instructions and building landlord relationships.
• Providing regular updates and feedback to landlords.
• Registering and qualifying prospective tenants.
• Conducting viewings and negotiating offers through to completion.
• Monitoring local listings and maintaining strong market awareness.
• Supporting property management tasks within the portfolio.
• Delivering excellent communication with clients in person and over the phone.
• Representing the brand professionally within the local community.

What Were Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience in lettings ideally in valuations or a similar level role.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask prioritise and organise a busy workload.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• ARLA Propertymark qualification desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong customer service focus with a proactive positive approach.
