Schedule: MondayThursday 7:15 AM 5:45 PM

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in The Woodlands TX is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a full-time short-term assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures used by physicians to detect breast abnormalities assist in diagnoses and support treatment decisions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care safety and accuracy along with proficiency in mammographic imaging systems and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning throughout all examinations.
Conduct routine quality control (QC) checks to maintain equipment accuracy and optimal imaging performance.
Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures as required.
Document procedures accurately within the EMR system (experience with EPIC preferred).
Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare team members to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with all departmental state and federal regulations related to mammography.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in mammography imaging techniques.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
Experience with Quality Control (QC) procedures for mammography equipment.
Experience assisting with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Ability to work a consistent MondayThursday schedule with 10.5-hour shifts.
