Job Summary

Classification Title:	Agricultural Assistant I
Classification Minimum Requirements:	None.
Job Description:	Crop Management: Planting cultivating and harvesting crops using modern farming techniques. Maintenance Assistance: Assisting with the upkeep of fields and facilities. Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operating and maintaining various equipment (e.g. tractors irrigation mowers) for research plots. Pesticide & Fertilizer Management: Involved in the application of pesticides and fertilizers to maintain crop health. Transportation & Vehicle Operation: Driving vehicles for tasks like transporting materials purchasing parts and attending training sessions. Cleaning & Lubrication: Cleaning and lubricating vehicles machinery and work areas using tools and equipment.
Expected Salary:	$17.00 hourly; commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications:	None.
Preferred:	To communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. To establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
