What Youll Do:
As a Finance Intern at Group 1 Automotive you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of corporate finance. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals you will work on real-world projects and initiatives that will enhance your skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Conduct research on industry trends and market dynamics.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
- Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
