Job Summary

LCRA is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the team! This position is a part of a 15-man crew that works on transmission line projects throughout Central Texas. The team travels to project sites on a weekly basis and project durations can last from days to months. Do you have experience operating equipment like bulldozers cranes boom trucks digging machines and/or transport equipment Then we want you to apply! You will be trusted to:

- Operate equipment as assigned for construction projects.
- Maintain equipment. Inspect clean adjust lubricate and make minor adjustments and repairs on the equipment or may make arrangements for major repairs and overhaul as needed.
- Transport heavy equipment (e.g. backhoe dump truck small excavator and large excavator).
- Understand and follow permitted loads and all safety departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform work by traveling independently or with a small crew to various locations (substations power plants water systems etc.) as scheduled.

You qualify with:

- Zero or more years of experience in operating large equipment such as bulldozers backhoes excavators cranes tractor trailers farm equipment or other machinery.
- Drivers license

You are a great fit with:

- Class A Texas commercial drivers license
- Previous transmission or distribution line experience
