During your summer internship you will receive guidance from seasoned professionals and gain exposure to our advanced AI and digital platforms. A position within our Property Assessment & Real Estate Advisory Group in Tax services offers the opportunity toassistclients in fulfilling and managing their tax responsibilities across various complex and evolving tax domains. You willprovidestrategic advice on local property assessment and tax matters serve as a consultant on business analysis indirect tax management and dispute resolution. Our team works to help clients enhance cash flow and minimize risk by addressing challenges related to property assessment real estate advisory and taxation. You will support clients on all aspects of indirect taxationparticularly property taxesfor both regional and domestic initiatives as well as on value added tax projects concerning property assessment and taxation.

This position is based across PwC Canadas Toronto and Vaughan offices.

What you bring to this role:

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.

  • Tax experience inpublicor private sector is an asset.

  • An interest inupskillinga digital world and technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Outlook Adobe Acrobat Excel) is an asset.

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas.

  • Highly detail oriented with excellentorganizationaland analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about datafactsand other information to deliver quality to our clients.

  • Share and collaborate effectively with others building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust

  • Ability to easily adapt andprioritizedemonstratingproject management skills to handle changing priorities.

  • Areenrolled in post-secondary education at a Canadian accredited institution (full-time or part-time).

  • Are studying accounting and/or businessseeking careers in Assurance orTaxand planning toobtaintheir Canadian CPA.

  • Areeligible to work in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contractoffered.

  • Willreturnto school following their internship or co-op tomaintaineligibilityfor the program andaward.
