Job Summary

Security Operations Organizations Collateral Information Security Department provides quality leadership services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. As the Information Systems Security Officer (Information Assurance Specialist I/II) you will be responsible for interpreting and applying government customer policies while displaying leadership competencies related to velocity as a part of our strategic imperatives.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time onsite at our location in El Segundo CA.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Development of policies and procedures regarding data handling computers and networks in collaboration with internal and U.S. Space Force customers
  • Coordination of Collateral systems activities with internal Aerospace and CISD team members
  • Establishment monitoring and maintenance of CISD information systems security compliance posture under the Risk Management Framework from conception through decommission
  • Attainment and maintenance of systems Assessment & Authorizations to Operate (ATOs)
  • Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) artifacts for all collateral information systems
  • Incident handling process of classified information system related incidents
  • Transfers of data for users between systems of like and differing classification levels

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for the Information Assurance Specialist I:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience with High School Diploma
  • Baseline understanding of the Risk Management Framework and Assessment & Authorization processes
  • Some familiarity with the following policies: NIST 800-53 DAAPM and related IA doctrine
  • Either possess DoD 8570 Certification (Security CISSP) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
  • This position requires a DoD Secret clearance (or higher) which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

In addition to the above the minimum requirements for the Information Assurance Specialist IIinclude:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with High School Diploma
  • Advanced understanding of the Risk Management Framework and Assessment & Authorization processes
  • Very familiar with the following policies: NIST 800-53 DAAPM and related IA doctrine
  • Must possess DoD 8570 Certification (Security CISSP)
  • An active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out

  • Currently studying for a degree in cyber security Information Systems Information Technology or related field
  • Achieved Bachelors or masters degree in cyber security Information Systems Information Technology or related field
  • 5 years of experience in the Risk Management Framework
  • Project Management Skills
  • ServiceNow experience

We offer a competitive compensation package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge and skills.
