We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting in Saint Augustine. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP or a recent graduate looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by helping them reach their fullest communication potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech language and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development.
- Offer support and training for teachers and staff to enhance communication strategies in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working in a school setting is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
