AI Engineer – Manager

Key Responsibilities

• AI Solution Development: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions from ideation and design through to deployment and ongoing support.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and clients ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Technical Excellence: Apply prompt engineeringtechniquesoptimise AI model performancedevelop machine learning modelsbuild agentic AI systemsandleverageAI platforms such as Microsoft CopilotStudio.

• Best Practices: Ensure AI solutions are scalable secure maintainable and ethically compliant staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry standards.

• AI Expertise: Stay current with latest AItechnologies andappropriateadvancementsinto the teamspractices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Masters or PhD in artificial intelligence machine learning data science computer science computer engineering or a related discipline.

• At least seven years direct experience in AI or machine learning development ideally in a business environment.

• Provenrecorddesigning deploying and supporting AI solutions for commercial clients.

• Experience managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams. Consulting experience isadvantageous.

technical skills:

• Proficiencywith machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlowPyTorch JAX).

• Strong software development skills inlanguages such asPython JavaScript or R.

• Experience with Azure cloud and AI services (e.g. Azure AI services Azure DevOps Azure Functions Azure Data Factory Microsoft Fabric) as well as familiarity with other cloud platforms.

• Solid understanding of data engineering principles tools and big data technologies with experience building data pipelines on Azure and awareness of alternative options.

• Knowledge of natural language processing and computer vision techniquesis a plus.

• Experience in multi-agent systems and collaborative AI is a plus.

• Effective communication presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated leadership mentoring or team management experience.

• Highly adaptable with a continuous learning mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
