The University of Texas at Austins Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering (UT PGE) is a world leader in petroleum engineering research education training and outreach. We seek applicants to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor and may also consider outstanding applicants for associate or full professor. A successful candidate will be expected to create undergraduate and graduate learning environments that address the needs of students from a variety of backgrounds with differing learning styles and abilities develop externally sponsored research programs collaborate with faculty from a wide range of backgrounds and be involved in service to the university and the engineering profession.

A Ph.D. in petroleum engineering or a related discipline is required.
