Responsibilities:

• Design develop and optimize embedded software (primarily in C/C )

• Maintain core system components to ensure performance reliability and scalability

• Assist in designing control systems

• Collaborate with electrical mechanical and Software application engineers to resolve complex system-level challenges

• Apply best practices in embedded software engineering including CI/CD automated testing and system monitoring

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Electrical/Computer Engineering or Embedded Software Engineering.

• 3 years in embedded systems low-level firmware on STM32/ARM Cortex or ESP32

• Experience with RTOS or bare-metal ARM environments.

• Strong C/C skills microprocessor optimization threading and software design principles.

• Experience with UART I2C SPI Wi-Fi BLE CAN source control and embedded build systems.

• Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and documentation skills.

• 2 years of Medical Device development experience

Preferred:

• Hands-on prototype work and functional verification for mechatronics products.

• Experience with contract manufacturing PCB design/validation and lab equipment.

• Experience with in-circuit emulators JTAG debuggers and laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes etc.

• Knowledge of regulatory (FDA EPA) and quality processes.

• Experience with software configuration management tools for source code control (Git) issue tracking (Jira) requirements management (JAMA)

• Experience with medical device standards including IEC ISO

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$109000 - $196000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
