Responsibilities:
Design develop and optimize embedded software (primarily in C/C )
Maintain core system components to ensure performance reliability and scalability
Assist in designing control systems
Collaborate with electrical mechanical and Software application engineers to resolve complex system-level challenges
Apply best practices in embedded software engineering including CI/CD automated testing and system monitoring
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Electrical/Computer Engineering or Embedded Software Engineering.
3 years in embedded systems low-level firmware on STM32/ARM Cortex or ESP32
Experience with RTOS or bare-metal ARM environments.
Strong C/C skills microprocessor optimization threading and software design principles.
Experience with UART I2C SPI Wi-Fi BLE CAN source control and embedded build systems.
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and documentation skills.
2 years of Medical Device development experience
Preferred:
Hands-on prototype work and functional verification for mechatronics products.
Experience with contract manufacturing PCB design/validation and lab equipment.
Experience with in-circuit emulators JTAG debuggers and laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes etc.
Knowledge of regulatory (FDA EPA) and quality processes.
Experience with software configuration management tools for source code control (Git) issue tracking (Jira) requirements management (JAMA)
Experience with medical device standards including IEC ISO
