Job Summary

TITLE: Altium PCB Designer (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)

CLEARANCE: Secret Clearance required active Secret security clearance is preferred or must be able to obtain

LOCATION: McLeansville NC 27301 (no relocation package)

HYBIRD:Prefer candidates work onsite in McLeansville North Carolina 3 or more days per week

DURATION: 12 month contract

SCHEDULE: 9/80 every other Friday off

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a PCB Designer for Undersea Systems youll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

REQUIRED SKILLS

A minimum of four years experience using Altium for PCB design.

Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators

Experience with library management practices in Altium or Xpedition.

Knowledge of PCB layout tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM Xpedition. DXdatabook BoardStation Hyperlynx).

Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition and Altium is valuable.

3D modeling in Solidworks NX or CREO.

Experience with Footprint Expert.

Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.

Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.

In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.

Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists ODB digital fabrication packages 3D model generation)

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Associates degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
