Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Stock Administrator to join our team in Telford on a full time permanent basis! 

As a Stock Administrator you will be responsible for providing accurate stock administration reconciling actual stock against system stock investigating discrepancies and escalating non-conformance.

Salary: 24444 per annum plus 1500 Banked Hours plus 1000 attendance bonus.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off 6am-6pm. 

Key Duties of a Stock Administrator:

  • Maintain an independent accurate and up to date stock record.
  • To be able to resolve discrepancies between expected and actual figures when they occur.
  • Create disposal orders; all customers to be emailed once complete.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with the warehouse in solving stock issues.
  • Update and maintain a record of shortages for next day deliveries and ensure that this is communicated to the relevant departments within the company.
  • Report any potentially short dated stock to customers and seek advice before despatching.
  • Deal with customer stock queries in a professional manner and to assist customers with their stock information.
  • To assist with stock checks.
  • Empty pallets to be updated daily all ins/outs.
  • Ensure all product transfers are communicated promptly to ensure they are done as per customer requests.

Qualifications :

  • A very clear-thinking logical and disciplined approach to work.
  • Extreme levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills including working knowledge of spreadsheets.
  • Problem-solving; tenacity in pursuing answers.
  • Some stock control experience would be very useful although not essential.
  • Effective communicator.
