ILS Engineer

What will you be doing 

Were looking for an ILS Engineer to support major defence and aerospace programmes. Youll be responsible for ensuring systems are designed with through-life supportability in mind from concept through to in-service support.

Youll work closely with engineering procurement and suppliers to influence design decisions and deliver effective support solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Deliver through-life support and sustainment across the full system lifecycle.

Develop and manage:

• Technical manuals
• Spares provisioning
• Training solutions
• Maintenance concepts
• Test and support equipment

Perform logistics and reliability analysis:

• LSAR LORA FMECA RBD Life Cycle Cost (LCC)

Manage ILS tools and data:

• Omega PS S1000D-compliant documentation
• Influence system design for supportability and reliability
• Support ILS planning risk management contracts and budgeting

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

• Degree in Engineering Logistics or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience using:
• S1000D ASD 4000 Omega PS
• LORA FMECA MIL-STD-217 RBD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident working with data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Understanding of defence procurement and regulations

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance.
