About the role
If you love a challenge with plenty of variety our medical wards are calling your name. The pace is fast and reactive with a huge mix of specialties including stroke telemetry dialysis respiratory diabetes management dementia and delirium plus eating disorder care. Med 1 brings high acuity action and Med 2 gives you a broad skill range youll use every single shift. Youll deliver person centred care advocate for patients support families manage changing clinical situations and work as part of a tight team focused crew. Its the kind of role where your skills grow quickly and your day never looks the same twice.

Youre fun approachable and someone who thrives in a team that laughs together and gets the job done. Communication is your superpower and youre the type who always pitches in without being asked. You value respect cultural safety and ethical practice and youre confident delegating supervising students and working with ENs and AINs. You wont be thrown in the deep end. Youll get corporate and ward-based orientation dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators on both wards and solid support from Tracey and the wider team. Youll feel welcomed guided and backed from day one.
