• Mount Barker
• Strathalbyn
• Mount Pleasant
• Gumeracha

Opportunities are available to assist with the provision of professional high quality care aimed at improving patient health outcomes in:

• Acute Medical Surgical Rehabilitation
• Aged Care
• Emergency
• Theatre
• Midwifery
• Renal Dialysis
• Chemotherapy and Transfusion

Central Staffing Casual Pool offers the flexibility and opportunity to move into many different areas within the nursing profession whilst achieving work/life balance.

As an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery youll support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in delivering person-centred care and undertake basic nursing duties such as assisting with daily living activities setting up for procedures cleaning equipment and managing stock. This is a rewarding opportunity to gain experience across multiple units and sites while contributing to safe high-quality care for our patients and residents.

The region is an area of significant population growth for South Australia. Our sites and services are located at Mt Barker Gawler Victor Harbor (Southern Fleurieu) Strathalbyn Kingscote (Kangaroo Island) Mt Pleasant Angaston Tanunda Gumeracha Eudunda and Kapunda. The LHN has 11 public hospitals 6 aged care facilities 5 birthing sites and an extensive range of community-based services.

• Assist nurses and midwives with routine care tasks and activities of daily living.
• Provide technical support functions such as equipment cleaning stock management and procedure setup.
• Help maintain a safe supportive and culturally appropriate environment for patients residents and staff.
• Actively participate in quality improvement activities by following established guidelines and reporting relevant data.
