Job Summary
As a Revit Technical Officer with Egis you will be responsible for the production of high-quality 3D models and design documentation for client substation designs within the electrical distribution industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your BIM and drafting skills in a supportive engineering design team and contribute to projects across Victoria and other states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining AutoCAD and Revit models for substation layouts equipment arrangements and associated building services.
- Preparing design drawings and documentation in coordination with electrical engineers and design staff.
- Assisting with site survey data integration into Revit models where required.
- Collaborating in a team environment while learning to work efficiently and autonomously on allocated tasks.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this opportunity you will ideally have recent demonstrated experience in a similar electrical design draftsperson role within addition you will also have:
- Technical qualification such as a Diploma of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
- Current full Victorian Drivers License
- Experience in electrical or mechanical drafting and/or design using REVIT is essential
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical services design will be highly regarded
