- Key responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the endoscopy suite including comprehensive preprocedure assessment and patient education monitoring and assisting during sedation and postprocedure recovery. Maintain strict sterile technique instrument turnover and equipment readiness; support physicians and the broader OR team with scope techniques biopsies and patient safety protocols; document thoroughly in electronic medical records; advocate for patient comfort and privacy; respond to emergent situations with priority and composure; collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality outcomes.
