2 years of laboratory experience
Phlebotomy experience required
Clinical Laboratory Technician license required
Must be able to work on a mobile lab/bus environment
Job Summary
The Clinical Laboratory Technician (Mobile Unit) is responsible for performing routine diagnostic laboratory procedures while supporting daily testing operations within a mobile clinical environment. This role ensures accuracy compliance and quality in all aspects of specimen handling and testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform basic and routine diagnostic procedures for isolating and identifying microbial pathogens from clinical specimens.
Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers; conduct manual tests as needed according to established protocols.
Maintain strong working knowledge of laboratory techniques instrumentation and variables affecting test outcomes.
Stay current on all testing procedures performed within the laboratory.
Assist with special projects new product/instrument evaluations and quality control processes.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Skills
Prior laboratory exposure preferred.
Clinical Laboratory Technician credential preferred.
Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail accuracy and organizational ability.
