Job Duties
Recruits and counsels prospective students and parents to meet recruitment goals.
Provides recruiting and counseling services to obtain 2800 completed applications by the end of each recruitment season. Prepares travel documents within three days of completing travel with 100% accuracy in accordance with state travel regulations with no more than 1 verified late document.
Reviews and evaluates applications to develop an enrollment candidacy pool.
Develops and coordinates on and off campus events to engage VCAN candidates and other Virginia residents. Develop and maintain connections with the Virginia community on and off campus.
Develop and conduct 2 unique events to engage VCAN eligible students faculty and community including other Virginia residents.
Assists with yearly communication plan to include social media email and telephone (Zoom) with admitted students.
Weekly check of registered students major AP/IB dual enrollment credit or financial aid status.
Conduct tours presentations and other admissions programs provide information and customer service to attract and secure potential students.
Minimum Qualifications
. Knowledge Skills and Abilities and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures
Demonstrated ability to compose and edit professional correspondences and reports
Extensive experience and high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining electronic data and physical files
Possess skill and knowledge CRM Recruit SLATE & Banner
Excellent organization skills and ability to set priorities
Ability to deal effectively with others working in a collaborative environment
Ability to work independently to complete multiple assignments with little or no direction
Additional Considerations
Previous experience using a CRM & Slate system and work experience in enrollment management/student affairs is preferred.
