AET is seeking a M365 Technical Consultant to work for a Government client based out of Washington D.C.
The Technical Consultant provides hands-on technical support configuration documentation and troubleshooting across the IRS M365 ecosystem. This role bridges end users development teams and the PMO ensuring stable operation timely resolution of incidents and clear documentation of processes. Technical Consultants help configure Power Platform environments monitor usage support SharePoint and OneDrive and maintain PMO reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance for IRWorks Priority 14 service tickets related to M365 Power Platform SharePoint OneDrive Exchange and Copilot.
- Support configuration setup and maintenance of Power Platform environments and Dataverse resources.
- Monitor performance capacity and usage of Dataverse environments and help troubleshoot issues.
- Assist end users with issues in Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Copilot features.
- Support SharePoint Online admin tasks including permissions site settings compliance controls and list/library configurations.
- Assist with OneDrive tenant configuration backup settings and feature scripting support.
- Create and maintain technical reference materialFAQs knowledge base articles user guides and iTrain content.
- Support PMO processes including POCs pilots scheduling reporting and documentation.
- Deliver bi-weekly and monthly consolidated performance reports including risks accomplishments metrics and system status.
Qualifications:
- Currently obtain an Active Public Trust clearance.
- 5 years supporting Microsoft 365 in enterprise/government environments.
- Working knowledge of Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online and OneDrive configuration.
- PowerShell scripting knowledge (basic-to-intermediate).
- Familiarity with Copilot and AI Builder functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex end user and platform-level issues.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills with an ability to support diverse users.
Compensation: $95000.00 - $130000.00 per year
