About the job:

Based in The Hague Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATOs Digital Endeavour. You will join The Air Command and Control (AirC2) Business Area. AirC2 ensures the harmonised planning implementation deployment evolution and support of the Air Command and Control (AirC2) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) programmes as well as other assigned programmes. AirC2 is the procurement and implementation body of the NCI Agency charged with the effective planning execution delivery into service evolution and through-life logistic support of NATOs and assigned national AirC2 and BMD systems.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Test Manager to join The Business Assurance Functional Group ensures that the AirC2 centre delivers high-quality products and services to its customers and stakeholders.

You will bring your expertise to The Engineering Functional Group (FG). FG is the technical backbone of AirC2 shaping how capabilities are architected integrated and delivered across NATO. It governs system design ensures alignment with shared strategies and standards and maintains the core technical assets and domain architectures. The group coordinates engineering activities across programmes and multinational projects while providing embedded support to internal stakeholders. As the AirC2 Technical Design Authority it guarantees coherent interoperable secure and supportable technical solutions and represents the engineering profession within the Centre.

Full Stack Software Development Engineer - AirC2 Applications

**Internally this position is titled: Software Development Engineer

About you

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.

  • Or exceptionally the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidates particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency that is at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.

  • At least 2 years recent experience implementing software in object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C C C# ADA Java);

  • At least 2 years of recent experience in software engineering of large-scale distributed software;

  • At least 2 years practical experience in tools and procedures applied in a collaborative DevSecOps environment

  • Up-to-date knowledge of software engineering related methods techniques metrics and tools;

  • Up-to-date knowledge of computer system architectures operating systems LAN/WAN and computer networks concepts.
