What Youll Get To Do:

As a Veterinary Surgical Technician at SPCA Florida you will play an integral role in patient care and workflow efficiency. Our surgery technician team is fully utilized and trusted with a wide range of responsibilities including:

Surgical prep monitoring and recovery
Safe and accurate anesthesia administration
Preparation of patients for surgery - proper clipping prep/scrub and positioning
Experienced in taking radiographs and positioning
Blood draws catheter placement and diagnostic sample collection
Client education and communication
Supporting veterinarians in pre-surgical exams procedures and treatments
