Planner

This individual will be responsible for planning and scheduling preparation analysis updates progress reporting as-built schedules recovery schedules technical support and tracking earned value on projects. Additional duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide resources for support training and schedule maintenance
  • Develop work packages through job walks
  • Assist projects in establishing baseline schedules updates documentation and modifications
  • Produce or support development of preliminary bid schedules to identify bidding advantages and ensure quality
  • Design project schedules and contract agreements maintain data integrity throughout the project lifecycle and prepare reports for client support
  • Generate monthly status reports for upper management detailing key schedule information and changes from the previous month
  • Provide schedule narratives to explain weekly discrepancies
  • Support schedule and time impact analysis exercises
  • Plan pump maintenance and repairs accurately
  • Understand industry QC and safety standards
  • Skilled in pipe and millwright work
  • SAP experience
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands: The role requires regular sitting handling objects reaching standing walking climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling talking hearing and occasionally tasting or smelling. Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. frequently. Vision requirements include close distance peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education: No minimum requirement

Certifications/Licenses: a valid Drivers License and TWIC Card

Experience: Minimum 4 years in industrial planning and scheduling
