Your opportunity
We Looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact engineering team. Youll be responsible for people management technical direction and delivery excellence. This role is ideal for someone who still enjoys being hands-on with code but is equally excited about mentoring engineers and driving outcomes.
What youll do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers (1:1s feedback growth plans).
- Own end-to-end delivery of features and services from planning to production.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions for your team.
- Review code and ensure engineering best practices performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product to define scope roadmap and priorities.
- Run Agile ceremonies: sprint planning standups retros etc.
- Identify and remove delivery blockers; manage risks and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Help shape engineering culture processes and standards.
Skills
- Expertise in Go for high-performance microservices including instrumentation concurrency and performance tuning.
- Expertise in system design concepts both High level and Low level design.
- Deep understanding of extreme-scale decoupled Cellular Architecture for exabyte-scale sub-second latency data ingestion and stream processing.
- Operational experience with Kafka.
- Architectural and security depth across multi-cloud: AWS GCP Azure and OCI.
- Expert-level Terraform for cloud management and codifying observability assets. Familiarity with Atlantis is valued.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (load balancers CDNs) and security mechanisms.
- Expert technical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native microservices and integration management.
- Experience designing robust CI/CD pipelines proficient with Jenkins and ArgoCD-like tools.
- Strategic oversight of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Custom Authorization Strategies Authentication Domains and domain capture for secure user provisioning
This role requires
- 1012 years of total software development experience.
- At least 35 years in a Tech Lead / Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager role.
- Strong hands-on background in Go lang Python Kafka etc..
- Solid understanding of system design microservices - Kubernetes Dockers etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones.
- Strong communication ownership and problem-solving skills.
Bonus points if you have
- AI and Agentic Workflows Understanding
- Model Context Protocol (MCP): Architectural knowledge of this open standard for LLM-tool/data interaction.
- Practical experience utilizing AI agents and LLMs (Claude GitHub Copilot/Co-pilot ChatGPT) for automated analysis predictive insights and remediation.
