Senior Functional Analyst – Oracle Financials Cloud

Position Description:

Within CGIs ERP Center of Expertise you will primarily work as a senior Oracle ERP Cloud Financials functional analyst in a project-oriented environment: implementations rollouts functional upgrades process optimization and integrations. You will also contribute to application support (AMS) activities for certain clients in production. You will play a strategic role in the transformation stabilization and evolution of Oracle Cloud ERP environments in collaboration with our clients technical teams and finance departments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Projects (main focus)
- Participate in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials implementation and deployment projects: workshops analysis design configuration testing migration training and production launch.
- Carry out mini-projects and functional developments: new features automations regional deployments P2P O2C and R2R process optimizations.
- Produce impact analyses functional documentation (BR100/AN.100 MD50) functional design and collaborate with technical teams (OIC banks tax systems).
- Participate in go-live and hypercare activities including post-deployment support and solution stabilization.
- Support finance departments in process modernization adoption of Oracle best practices and optimization of internal controls.
- Contribute to integration projects: banking flows payments invoicing external systems (Snowflake tax platforms collection solutions).
- Support clients in their recurring financial cycles: accounting closings reconciliations taxation fixed asset management report production.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support / AMS (additional)
- Provide Level 2 functional support for GL AP AR FA CE Expenses Tax and SLA.
- Diagnose incidents process change requests and ensure operational continuity.
- Participate in Quarterly Updates: impact analysis non-regression testing UAT.
- Collaborate with technical teams (OIC BI Publisher OTBI security) to resolve complex issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in finance accounting administration or management information systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial functional analysis including 3 years with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials in a project environment.
- Proven experience in workshops configuration migrations (FBDI ADFDI) test scenarios and production of functional deliverables.
- Solid knowledge of GL AP AR CE Expenses FA Tax and SLA modules.
- Very good understanding of integrated financial processes: P2P O2C R2R multi-currency taxation reporting closings.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously: projects developments support.
- Excellent communication documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingualism in French/English.
- Autonomy rigor functional leadership and customer focus.
- Oracle Financials Cloud certification (an asset).

ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Knowledge of project methodologies (OUM Agile).
- Familiarity with financial standards: IFRS SOX internal audit access controls.
- Experience in financial integrations (OIC API banking systems tax platforms external solutions).


Work mode: Montréal or remote

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90000$175000. This role is a future opportunity
