SUMMARY:
The position requires operation of assorted electronic test equipment and a basic understanding of flow meter calibration to enable the person to adjust scale and program complex electronic systems to specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Calibrate and program microprocessor controlled electronic equipment using personal computers;
Make modifications to existing boards from engineering drawings or diagrams with guidance from an Electronics Technician II or Engineering;
Install and solder components onto circuit boards.
Assemble electronic enclosures and system test electronics mated or paired with flow meters.
Mix and use potting compounds conformance coatings etc. as required by drawings and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalent
One to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Certification to IPC-J-STD-001 desired

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is expected to utilize the proper and required safety precautions including sound judgement when tasked to move or lift heavy objects.
The employee may be required to perform work tasks under magnification using a microscope as well as tasks involving very small parts and components. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near distance vision color vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
