Commercial Lines Team Lead Remote for NY Candidates
Base Salary: $115000 $130000
Must hold an active P&C insurance license.
A growing national agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Team Lead a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage including experience with both admitted and non-admitted carriers. This role supports an established book of business and requires strong client service coverage expertise and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service an established commercial lines book of business across multiple coverage lines including construction-related accounts.
- Handle new and renewal business including coverage reviews endorsements and policy accuracy checks.
- Prepare certificates proposals policy summaries and other client documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive high-quality service.
- Support sales efforts and contribute to overall revenue retention and growth.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to issues related to cancellations claims renewals audits receivables and carrier communications.
- Work independently or collaboratively to support team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Prior experience in a commercial brokerage environment.
- Background managing a diverse commercial lines book of business.
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
- Experience reviewing insurance contracts for accuracy.
- Proficiency with agency management software (such as TAM or EPIC).
