Starting salary is $21.710-$23.723/hr.*

Annual salary $59832.76*

*Based on working a regular 48/96 with annual FLSA OT rate up to $5291.00 (for assigned schedule) and Holiday Pay. Plus up to $3600 in incentive pay based on certification level.

Job Announcement:

The City of Webster Fire Department is accepting application for the position of Firefighter. Firefighters protect life and property by safely extinguishing fires and removing individuals from hazardous situations and assisting in fire prevention activities. Firefighters are involved in other emergency and non-emergency situations such as inspections maintenance of equipment and conducting other related duties. This position requires the ability to stay calm under pressure. Dependable attendance and teamwork are essential to success in this role. This position may require overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid Texas Class C Drivers License
• TCFP Structure Fire Protection-Basic
• TDHS EMT- Basic (Advanced & Paramedic Preferred)
