Job Summary
- Maintain complete and up-to-date information on the status of all assigned projects.
- Communicate with clients as required to address design matters provide updates and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage and control project workflows in coordination with the Interior Design Manager / Department Head.
- Develop and monitor detailed work timelines for each assigned project.
- Guide assign tasks and provide direction to Senior and Junior Interior Designers involved in the projects.
- Review and translate schematic drawings into construction drawings construction documents and finishing schedules to be reviewed by the Interior Design Manager.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of work produced by Senior and Junior Interior Designers.
- Coordinate with MEP and structural consultants to ensure design integration.
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers regarding design specifications materials and timelines.
- Update Senior and Junior Interior Designers with MEP and structural information as needed.
- Prepare and submit concise project status reports to the Interior Design Manager / Department Head.
- Support the Interior Design Manager / Department Head in handling multiple projects at various stages.
- Attend client and internal meetings with the Interior Design Manager / Department Head as required.
- Maintain a structured digital documentation and archiving system for all project files in collaboration with the Manager.
- Ensure proper archiving of all construction drawings and documents submitted to clients.
- Participate in site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with approved plans.
- Prepare and distribute minutes of meeting in a timely manner.
- Remain available and responsive to project requirements and urgent matters as they arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in interior design with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role managing projects and teams.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design and visualization software.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings documents and finishing schedules.
- Knowledge of MEP and structural coordination processes.
- Ability to set project timelines manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time high-quality delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in guiding reviewing and supervising the work of senior and junior designers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) to liaise effectively with clients contractors consultants and suppliers.
- High accuracy in reviewing drawings documents and design details.
- Comfortable attending client meetings and presenting design concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handle urgent tasks and be available as required.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in digital documentation and archiving systems; willingness to participate in site visits and ensure design implementation.
