A well-led primary school in Kingston is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic LSA to join the team from January 2026. The LSA will assist teachers by preparing resources supporting small-group interventions and helping pupils develop independent learning strategies. The appointed LSA will work across the phase supporting phonics reading and numeracy programmes and will keep clear records of progress to inform planning. Responsibilities
Support classroom teaching by assisting with differentiated activities and group work as an LSA.
Deliver targeted small-group programmes and record their impact for teachers.
Help prepare resources manage learning areas and support behaviour routines.
Support pupils social and emotional development and encourage independence.
Communicate effectively with teachers and parents in Kingston to support pupil progress.
Person specification
Experience working in schools or with children in educational settings as an LSA.
Practical patient and able to support learning across the curriculum.
Good communication skills and strong organisational ability; available to start January 2026 and attend induction before January 2026.
