This full-time permanent position begins in January 2026 and would suit a teacher who enjoys delivering a varied engaging and hands-on curriculum across both creative and technical disciplines.
The successful candidate will teach both Art and Design Technology across KS3KS4 delivering high-quality lessons that develop imagination practical skill technical accuracy and confidence. You will support students with GCSE coursework guide them through design processes encourage experimentation with materials and explore a wide range of artistic media.
This dual-role offers excellent variety balancing practical DT projects with expressive conceptual and skills-based Art learning. You will also contribute to enrichment activities creative clubs department displays and whole-school events.

Degree in Art Design Technology or a related creative/technical field
PGCE with QTS
Strong practical skills across both artistic and DT-based disciplines
