Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Lab Preparer: Preparing apparatus chemical solutions and biological materials for daily practical lessons and demonstrations.
- Safety Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines managing chemical inventory and maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment.
- Resource Coordinator: Repairing equipment managing stock and efficiently setting up labs for classes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant scientific qualification/background with strong commitment to laboratory safety.
- Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government support staff scale (approx. 24000 - 29000 per annum pro-rata).
