Note: Interview Process: Phone screen then onsite interview. 2 positions needed - one for A shift and one for B shift: A Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) B Shift (3:00 PM 1:00 AM). *Candidate must meet DOD/ITAR requirements for this position. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. *PPE: Steel toe shoes safety glasses (non-prescription provided) clean room gown (provided). Must-Have Skills:
- Ability to inspect precision components up close
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and inspection tasks
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry capability
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Cleanroom assembly or inspection experience
- Experience handling precision or optical components
- Experience cleaning critical surfaces
- Familiarity with Epicor Shop Floor Management Software
- Experience interpreting MIL specifications
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean and inspect optical components using manual and automated processes prior to thin film coating.
- Verify serial numbers material counts and condition of incoming items for coating.
- Complete all required paperwork electronic transactions and Acceptance Test Plans for each lot processed.
- Operate and maintain the ultrasonic cleaning line per standard operating procedures.
- Interface with technicians and supervisors to address rejections and ensure timely rework and process flow.
- Perform monthly inventory checks and report discrepancies to the department supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent eyesight for close visual inspection
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. daily
- Ability to work in environments with heat noise odors and chemical exposure while wearing PPE
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently
