Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Senior Accountant
- Prepare month-end general ledger journal entries in accordance with US GAAP with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
- Perform variance analysis on assigned accounts by comparing to budget and trends; provide detailed explanations to leads and managers for financial statement reviews.
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Assist other teams and departments by providing requested financial information as needed.
- Prepare income statements balance sheets consolidated statements and other accounting reports.
- Analyze financial statements and records; make recommendations regarding accounting for reserves assets and expenditures.
- Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications for various records.
- Conduct special studies and recommend improvements to accounting methods and procedures.
- Instruct or delegate tasks to bookkeepers and accounting clerks involved in general accounting activities.
- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments locations and divisions.
- Assist in coordinating functions such as accounting accounts payable payroll and cash receipts.
- Prepare financial reports and oversee coordination of various accounting activities.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (required).
