Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS ACLS - Can be RN RT(R) or CVT (RCIS) or (RCES) background. Our RCIS techs here cross train into all the roles. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Our EP lab is separate from our Cath lab so all cases are strictly EP. We are heavy on PVI s specifically Farapulse- Pulse field ablation LAAO- Watchman and Leadless pacemakers- Single and Dual chamber. We also perform Transvenous Pacemakers ICDs and CRTDs/Ps. Our EP lab treats Cardiac Patients; Pacemaker Implants Leadless (single and dual) Pacemaker implants ICD implants Bi-ventricular implants EP studies RF Cryo and PFA ablations not limited to but including: PVI VT SVT. LAAO procedures as well as concominent studies. - Be able to scrub and circulate but if not both then someone who extremely efficient in one or the other. Ratio / Census: While we only have 2- EP MDs we are a high volume 2 Room EP lab that is open 7a- 430p every day; 1:5 Unit Systems: Epic Cupid (Required) Pyxis Abbott Claris EP recording system GE Mac Lab Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: No Weekends Floating: Yes Call Requirements: Yes 2 late shifts per week (EP does not take call but they do require late day coverage so it would be at a minimum of 2 late days per week consisting of staying past your scheduled shift until cases are complete however it s typically no later than 6PM-6:30PM) Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year s Eve and Day: Wednesday December 31 and Thursday January 1 Memorial Day: Monday May 26 Independence Day: Friday July 4 Labor Day: Monday September 1 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday November 27 and Friday November 28 Christmas Eve and Day: Wednesday December 24 and Thursday December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. CLINICAL SCREEN - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
