The CDL Feedmill Driver is responsible for safely transporting animal food from the feedmill to production facilities and other destinations following all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strict adherence to biosecurity measures proper loading/unloading procedures and accurate completion of paperwork. The driver must comply with DOT safety rules local state and federal regulations and immediately report any accidents or equipment issues to their supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Allen Harims vision mission and values.
Deliver animal food from the feedmill to designated production facilities and other locations.
Inspect truck and equipment prior to loading to ensure safe operation.
Load and unload animal food according to established standard operating procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and timely.
Follow biosecurity and BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) rules.
Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Prepare written animal food delivery reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid medical card.
Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience.
CDL Class A license.
Must meet all DOT requirements and comply with DOT rules and regulations.
Knowledge/Skills:
Understanding of feed hazards and safe handling procedures.
