Summary:
The Flock Settlement Coordinator is responsible for processing broiler producer settlements and supporting the Live Accounting Team in preparing accurate financial and accounting data. This role ensures management has reliable information for costs budgets forecasting and operational reporting while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support company vision mission and values.
Process weekly broiler producer settlements run flock settlement reports and manage producer files.
Reconcile fuel histories processing and feed transactions daily.
Research and correct discrepancies in settlements and reports.
Make necessary corrections after settlement.
Distribute settlement and related reports as required.
Prepare weekly minimum pay Cobb CIP reports and broiler/breeder ACH.
Set up new broiler producers in MTECH as needed.
Maintain producer bank assignments deductions and active/inactive producer files.
Maintain company farm leases.
Respond to producer inquiries promptly.
Input and interface medication litter and vaccine data for each flock.
Coordinate broiler farm or entity number changes.
Serve as backup for Account Payable ingredient specialist.
Submit weekly Agristats and maintain grower contribution programs.
Test broiler settlement functions in M-Tech during updates.
Prepare weekly flock statistics and assist Live Accounting Team in daily financial operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3 years of accounting experience; experience in poultry meat or perishable foods preferred.
Experience with MTECH and SAP preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge/Skills:
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team building and leadership abilities
Analytical skills for financial reporting and reconciliations
Effective communication with team members
Basic experience creating PowerPoint presentations for internal/external stakeholders
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand walk sit and use hands to manipulate objects tools or office equipment.
Frequently required to talk and hear.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms stoop kneel or crouch.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Work Environment:
Professional office environment using standard office equipment (computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets fax machines).
Occasional local business travel may be required.
