Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking highly skilled professionals with expertise in RDK-B and embedded networking software development for RDK-B Gateways. The role spans multiple levels from hands-on development to technical leadership Develop and implement RDK-B gateway features up step RDK-B stack Triage Field issues with Customer Technical support team and Fix Field issues with in SLA offering opportunities to work on cutting-edge broadband technologies and collaborate with global chipset vendors.
Roles & Responsibilities
SME (8 12 years):
o Act as the technical authority for the RDK-B domain.
o Design and implement features.
o Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
o Mentor engineers review designs and ensure best practices.
o Interface with chipset vendors for feature enablement and optimisation.
Expertise
SME: Deep knowledge in one or more domains (e.g. DOCSIS PHY/MAC SIP stack BSP) performance tuning and optimisation.
Skillset
Common Across Levels:
o Proficiency in C/C scripting (Shell/Python) and Git.
o Strong debugging skills (GDB Wireshark).
o Knowledge of networking protocols and compliance standards.
Additional Skills:
o TR-069 TR-369 protocol certification.
o Build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Work Experience
SME: 8 12 years in telecom CPE development.
