We are seeking a Python / Ansible Automation Engineer to join our team. This role will involve developing automation solutions managing complex workflows and supporting infrastructure orchestration. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python Ansible AWS CI/CD Linux/Unix and a passion for building scalable automation systems.

Job Description:

Trilyon is hiring a Python / Ansible Automation Engineer for a hybrid position in Columbus OH. The Python / Ansible Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining automation solutions that support system orchestration configuration management and application deployments.

This Python / Ansible Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements optimize workflows and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will write refine and maintain Ansible playbooks roles and modules while also creating Python scripts to extend automation capabilities or support specialized use cases.

The Python / Ansible Automation Engineer will provide troubleshooting support ensure automation workflows align with security best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain automation solutions leveraging Ansible and Python.
Develop and manage Ansible playbooks roles inventories and modules.
Write and optimize Python scripts to extend automation capabilities and integrate systems.
Collaborate with development operations and network engineering teams to gather requirements and build effective automation workflows.
Integrate automation into CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and configuration pipelines.
Troubleshoot automation workflows and resolve scripting issues.
Ensure all automation complies with security and organizational best practices.
Document workflows configurations processes and troubleshooting steps.

Key Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Python including relevant libraries.
Expert-level experience with Ansible including playbook and role development.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Experience with Git and version control best practices.
Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating automation into pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
