This is a full-time on-site position located in Fairburn GA. The Apparel Mechanic Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance repair and optimization of sewing equipment and related machinery to ensure seamless production operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery issues coordinating repairs maintaining equipment logs and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Apparel Mechanic Manager will liaise with the production team to support productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing sewing equipment tools and resources effectively.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to efficiently collaborate with the production team and address machinery concerns.
- Sales and Negotiation experience to coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and purchases.
- Strong Product Development understanding to support innovative solutions to production challenges and machinery optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues ensuring minimal downtime in production processes.
- Experience managing teams and promoting safety in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing fields preferred.
