Job Summary

SH-764 Senior Test Analyst Indianapolis IN .

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our quality assurance this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our software applications with a focus on mainframe systems and interfaces within the Child Support domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements identify defects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Function as an integral member of an Agile project team collaborating with developers business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans scenarios scripts and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Perform functional integration regression and performance testing to validate software quality.
Identify document report and track defects using designated tools; work collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
Validate data integrity and flow between mainframe systems and other interfaces (e.g. APIs).
Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test results progress reports and summary logs.
Provide support to end-users during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase guiding them through processes and documenting feedback.
Uphold all relevant federal state and local rules regulations and procedures applicable to Child Support systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in software testing including significant hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies (COBOL JCL DB2) and analyzing batch job results.
Methodology: Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge and practical experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman SoapUI).
- Good knowledge of defect management processes and tools specifically Atlassian Jira and qTest.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with Salesforce testing is a strong advantage.
Domain Knowledge: Good knowledge of applicable federal/state/local rules regulations statutes and procedures related to Child Support services.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and assist in developing creative solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Proactive organized and collaborative approach to work.
