Position: Mainframe Developer (Natural/Adabas)
Duration: 12 Months with extension (Preferably Hybrid are open to remote)
Location: North Dakota
Required Skills:
- Experience in application support and system analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications and data workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic SQL or data query skills (preferred).

- Mainframe
- Current experience in Natural required
- Knowledge and experience developing mainframe applications using Natural
- Adabas DB2 Oracle Job Control Language (JCL)
- Primary toolsets include TSO Librarian (source version control) IBM Fault
- Analyzer IBM Debug Facility
- Good working knowledge of relational databases
Summary:
- The Application Support Analyst will provide system analysis and support for IT
- applications ensuring smooth operations and assisting with enhancements as needed.
- This role focuses on application troubleshooting user support and coordination
- between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and application functionality to identify improvement
- opportunities.
- Provide day-to-day support for IT systems including issue resolution and user
- assistance.
- Document system configurations workflows and support procedures.
- Collaborate with developers and other IT staff within HHS and NDIT to implement
- changes or enhancements.
- Assist with testing and validation of application updates.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding system performance
- and changes.
- Coordinate work with NDIT technical staff to meet state IT standards and
- requirements.
- Participate in project work as directed by the program manager and as assigned
- by the project management team the approved project plans and the approved
- project schedules.
