Job Summary

Position: Mainframe Developer (Natural/Adabas)

Duration: 12 Months with extension (Preferably Hybrid are open to remote)

Location: North Dakota

Required Skills:

Experience in application support and system analysis.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with enterprise applications and data workflows.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic SQL or data query skills (preferred).

Mainframe
Current experience in Natural required
Knowledge and experience developing mainframe applications using Natural
Adabas DB2 Oracle Job Control Language (JCL)

Primary toolsets include TSO Librarian (source version control) IBM Fault
Analyzer IBM Debug Facility
Good working knowledge of relational databases

Summary:

The Application Support Analyst will provide system analysis and support for IT
applications ensuring smooth operations and assisting with enhancements as needed.
This role focuses on application troubleshooting user support and coordination
between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes and application functionality to identify improvement
opportunities.
Provide day-to-day support for IT systems including issue resolution and user
assistance.
Document system configurations workflows and support procedures.
Collaborate with developers and other IT staff within HHS and NDIT to implement
changes or enhancements.
Assist with testing and validation of application updates.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding system performance
and changes.
Coordinate work with NDIT technical staff to meet state IT standards and
requirements.
Participate in project work as directed by the program manager and as assigned
by the project management team the approved project plans and the approved
project schedules.
