BI Data Engineer

Remote

Working hours: PST 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What is in it for you

As a BI Data Engineer you will Lead the design and implementation of advanced BI data solutions including data warehouses data marts and info-marts.

Duties:

Project Leadership: Participate in Agile projects manage priorities and ensure timely delivery.
Data Architecture: Design and implement data warehouses ETL processes and dimensional models.
SQL Development: Create complex SQL queries SSIS packages stored procedures and indexes.
Data Quality: Establish standards for data accuracy completeness and governance.
Analytics: Understand business processes (especially Managed Care) design data models and support reporting.
Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders document solutions and educate teams on best practices.
Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and influence team direction.

Required:

Bachelors in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
6 years in database development/administration OR 8 years progressive experience.
Expertise in data architecture ETL and BI solutions.
Preferably healthcare domain experience.
Advanced SQL data modeling ETL tools BI platforms DevOps practices.
Valid drivers license; up to 10% travel.
