Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform heavy maintenance (C-Checks) on various regional jet airframes
Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures
Complete all assigned tasks safely and within allotted time frames
Inspect and repair aircraft following FAA or applicable regulatory guidelines
Consult maintenance blueprints manuals and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems
Conduct troubleshooting installations removals and inspections on various aircraft
Operate ground support equipment as required
Document aircraft maintenance actions accurately in a computer-based system

Requirements:

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License required
Minimum of 3 years work experience as an Aircraft Technician (preferred)
MRO experience is a plus
CRJ airframe experience is a plus
Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus
Possess basic set of tools
Strong troubleshooting skills
Comfortable with technology and entering maintenance actions into a computer system
Effective verbal and written communication skills for aircraft maintenance actions
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if applicable
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be comfortable with shift work in a 24/7 operation including 12-hour day night and weekend shifts
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
