B. Key Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and record patients vital signs symptoms and medical histories.
Assist with patient hygiene and activities of daily living including bathing dressing and feeding.
Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Perform wound care and assist with minor surgical procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Respond to patient calls and concerns in a timely manner.
Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid as needed.
Participate in training and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Completes required organizational compliance education including assigned requirements that are client-specified for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) to obtain licensure.
A current full active LPN license in any State Territory or Commonwealth (i.e. Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia.
Must possess 2 years of recent experience as an LPN.
Education Required:
Certificate from an accredited Practical nursing program.
Physical Requirements:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
Must be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
Additional Information :
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
