About the Opportunity
We are hiring a professionally qualified Company Secretary (fresh/entry-level) to support corporate secretarial regulatory compliance and governance activities for a growing food & FMCG manufacturing and export company. This role is ideal for a CS professional who wants hands-on exposure to statutory filings board governance and secretarial processes in a manufacturing-export environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage secretarial compliance: prepare and file statutory returns forms and disclosures with MCA/ROC in line with Companies Act 2013 timelines.
- Coordinate board and committee governance: draft agendas notices resolutions minutes and maintain statutory registers.
- Support statutory and secretarial audits: collate documents implement audit points and maintain records for internal and external reviews.
- Execute regulatory filings: handle efiling (MCA) XBRL submissions and routine ROC correspondence and compliance.
- Maintain corporate records and registers: share capital records registers of members directors charges and related filings.
- Assist in policy drafting and compliance tracking by implementing corporate governance practices and ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- CS Professional qualification (Final/ACS) from ICSI
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2013 and applicable corporate regulations
- Practical experience or training in MCA e-Filing and ROC Filings
- Familiarity with secretarial audit procedures and corporate governance frameworks
- Ability to draft board agendas minutes and statutory resolutions
- Proficiency in MS Office and XBRL filing basics
Preferred
- Internship or in-house exposure in a manufacturing or export-focused organisation
- Exposure to tax/finance teams or experience coordinating with auditors
- Knowledge of SEBI or RBI compliance (where applicable)
