Job Summary

Introduction

We are hiring a Senior Associate for one of our reputable corporate finance leaders in SA market!

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

Bachelors and/or Post Graduate Degree in Business and/or Finance (or other if subsequent work experience in finance).
Studying to become a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) Masters in Commerce and/or pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designations (Level 2 minimum).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in nowledge of alternative investment strategies such as buyouts growth equity and BEE transactions;
Exposure to corporate finance investment banking leveraged finance transaction advisory or mergers and acquisitions; strategy consulting which should include experience in valuation and due diligence corporate finance M&A and/or private equity transactions.
Ability to conduct industry research formulate and critically evaluate investment theses rigorously interrogate and analyse information articulate opinions and distil through excellent report writing skills;
Strong financial modelling valuation and risk assessment skills;
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers;
